MSF: a digital platform for volunteer management

Volunteering is at the heart of Medici Senza Frontiere’s work. Coordinating an active and widespread network across Italy requires digital tools that are secure, flexible and easy to use. That’s why Medici Senza Frontiere turned to Purelab to fully digitize its volunteer management process through the creation of a dedicated online platform.

While the visual identity was developed by OBLO, Purelab took care of the user experience and technical architecture, translating creative guidelines into a fully functional and intuitive environment. The platform, built using .NET Core, was designed to guarantee security, scalability and simplicity from day one.

Accessible nationwide, the solution enables local volunteer groups to manage activities, publish events, collect digital consent through OTP signatures and control access securely. Thanks to a close collaboration with the Medici Senza Frontiere team, the platform continues to evolve with new features and areas being added to support the organization’s operational growth.

This project reflects Purelab’s ability to deliver tailored digital tools that support participation and simplify complex processes for mission-driven organizations.
